ITINERARIES
The area surrounding the cabins is untouched primary forest with an extensive system of hiking trails for easy access to the incredibly diverse surroundings.
With the help of your Huaorani and Kichwa indigenous guides and an interpreter guide (available in English, German, French and Spanish) you will learn about the rainforests through the eyes of someone who has grown up in the rainforest and learned of its many wonders and secrets.
There are no fewer than eleven species of monkeys that live around the cabins, and it is common to catch a glimpse of them. Also in the neighborhood are other mammals as the tapir, peccaries or the capybara; anacondas and caimans on the river shore and a wide diversity of birds as the toucans, macaws, parrots, hoatzin, kingfishers, hummingbirds, and several species of raptor, including the elusive harpy eagle. Because Kempery takes guests deep into the Amazon, the minimum trip length is 4 days.
We offer tours of 4 and 5 days with accommodation in the Lodge Bataburo. Beside, there is the possibility to make Adventure tours ranging from 7 to 15 days visiting the small Huaorani village Bameno situated on the river Cononaco in the Yasuní National Park, where the famous chief Kem Pere lives.
